December 5, 2009 - Level 5A  Hillenburg State Invitational - Trevinos in Lancaster, TX

Mckinlee competed in her final Level-5A gymnastics competition, the Hillenburg State Invitational meet at Trevinos. Vault: 8.55 Bars: 8.30 Beam: 8.625 Floor: 8.55 AA: 34.025.

October 25, 2009 - Level 5A  District Championship - Aerial Athletics in San Antonio, TX

Mckinlee competed in her fifth Level-5A gymnastics competition, the District Championship meet at Aerial Athletics. Vault: 8.60 Bars: 8.60 Beam: 8.40 Floor: 8.30 AA: 33.90.

October 04, 2009 - Level 5A  Judges Cup - Alamo Gymnastics in San Antonio, TX

Mckinlee competed in her fourth Level-5A gymnastics competition, the Judges Cup meet at Alamo Gymnastics. Vault: 8.65 Bars: 7.80 Beam: 8.625 Floor: 7.90 AA: 32.975.

September 27, 2009 - Level 5A  District Qualifer - Boerne Gymnastics in Boerne, TX

Mckinlee competed in her third Level-5A gymnastics competition, the District Qualifer meet at Boerne Gymnastics. Vault: 8.00 Bars: 8.20 Beam: 8.90 Floor: 8.50 AA: 33.60

September 12, 2009 - Level 5A  District Qualifer - Capital Gymnastics in Austin, TX

Mckinlee competed in her second Level-5A gymnastics competition, the District Qualifer meet at Capital Gymnastics. Vault: 8.60 Bars: 8.65 Beam: 8.05 Floor: 8.80 AA: 34.10

August 22, 2009 - Level 5A  "Hot Summer Gymnastics" - Crenshaws in Austin, TX

Mckinlee competed in her first Level-5A gymnastics competition, the "Hot Summer Gymnastics" meet at Crenshaws. Vault: 8.25 Bars: 8.20 Beam: 8.05 Floor: 8.15 AA: 32.65

 

March 21, 2009 - Level 7 Jr. F  Texas State Championship - WOGA in Frisco, TX

Sierra competed in the Level-7 Jr. F Texas State gymnastics competition in Frisco. She placed 4th on Beam, 7th on Bars, 7th on Floor and 7th in the AA. At this meet, she scored a 37.55 in the All-Around consisting of: 9.35 on Vault, 9.35 on Bars, 9.525 on Beam, and 9.325 on floor. A great end to the season for her. As you recall, she just competed Level-6 state back in November 2008. Making the Level-6 to Level-7 jump in such a short period and coming out 7th in the AA at state was a good way to end the season. She's very excited about getting back to the gym and learning new skills for next season! :-)

March 8, 2009 - Level 7 Jr. B  Texas South State - Stars Gymnastics in Houston, TX

Sierra competed in the Level 7 Jr. B Texas South State in Houston. She placed 3rd on Beam, 9th on Floor, and 13th in the All-Around. Scores: Vault: 9.25  Bars: 8.85  Beam: 9.25  Floor: 9.425  AA: 36.775. The competition was held at 8AM on the Sunday morning of Daylight Savings Time. As a result, she was on the floor warming-up at 6:45AM body-time. :-( She had a fall on bars - casted a little too high, but still got an 8.85 - the fall cost 0.5 points, so she could have had a 9.35...which would have bumped her up to 5th in the AA instead of 13th. Oh well, on to state!! :-)

February 21, 2009 - Level 7 Jr. B  Alamo Classic - Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX

Sierra competed in the Level 7 Jr. B Alamo Classic in San Antonio. She placed 5th on Vault, 4th on Bars, 5th on Beam, 5th on Floor and 4th in the All-Around. Scores: Vault: 9.3  Bars: 9.05  Beam: 9.175  Floor: 9.3  AA: 36.825.

February 8, 2009 - Level 7 Jr. B  Metroplex Challenge - Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, TX

Sierra competed in the Level 7 Jr. B Metroplex Challenge. She placed 10th on Beam.  She had a great meet, but just a lot of really strong Level-7 girls competing in the same session as Capital. Scores: Vault: 9.25  Bars: 9.1  Beam: 9.2  Floor: 9.1  AA: 36.65

January 25, 2009 - Level 7 Jr. B  Kim Zmeskal's Texas PRIME Meet in Coppell, TX

Sierra competed in the Level 7 Jr. B Texas PRIME Meet. She just completed Level-6 in November. This was her first Level-7 meet and she had a few first meet jitters to work out. All in all, considering the short amount of time she's been training Level-7, she did great! :-)  She placed 6th on Vault & 5th on Bars.  Scores: Vault: 9.1  Bars: 9.25  Beam: 7.95  Floor: 8.95  AA: 35.25

2008

December 6, 2008 - Level 4 - Hillenburg Invitational at Trevinos in Lancaster, TX

Mckinlee competed in the Level 4 Hillenburg Invitational at Trevinos. She placed on Vault and in the All-Around

November 15, 2008 - Level 6 Jr. C  Texas State Championship - Silver Division at WOGA in Frisco, TX

Sierra competed in the Level 6 Jr. C Texas State Championship Silver Division. She placed 3rd in the All-Around with a 37.125. She placed 3rd on Vault, 6th on Bars, 6th on Beam, & 7th on Floor.  Scores: Vault: 9.425  Bars: 8.925  Beam: 9.45  Floor: 9.325  AA: 37.125

October 25, 2008 - Level 6 Jr. C  Texas South State Championship at Reflex Gymnastics in Pearland, TX

Sierra competed in the Level 6 Jr. C Texas South State Championship. Sierra placed 1st on Beam, 5th on Floor, & 12th on Vault. She placed 10th in the All-Around which qualified her to compete in the Level-6 Jr. C Silver Division at the Texas State Championship. Scores: Vault: 9.125  Bars: 8.025  Beam: 9.65  Floor: 9.225  AA: 36.025

October 5, 2008 - Level 6 Jr. B District Championship at National Elite Gymnastics in Austin, TX

Sierra competed in the Level 6 Jr. B District Championship. Sierra placed 4th on Bars and 7th on Floor. She placed 6th in the All-Around. There was only 0.55 points between 6th place and 3rd place in the All-Around. Scores: Vault: 9.05  Bars: 8.825  Beam: 8.525  Floor: 8.875  AA: 35.275

October 4, 2008 - Level 4 District Championship at National Elite Gymnastics in Austin, TX

Mckinlee competed in the Level 4 District Championship. Scores: Vault: 8.9  Bars: 7.9  Beam: 7.7  Floor: 8.5  AA: 33.0

September 27, 2008 - Monkey Madness - Level 4 at PowerHouse TNT Gymnastics in San Antonio, TX

This was Mckinlee's 1st Level-4 meet. As you know, she took a 3 month break from gymnastics this summer, so she missed the first couple of competitions. This was her first meet and we think she did very well: Vault: 9.5  Bars: 8.15  Beam: 8.75  Floor: 9.0

September 21, 2008 - Tumbling with the Stars - Level 6 Jr. B at Aerial Athletics in San Antonio, TX

This was Sierra's 3rd  Level-6 meet. She competed in the Jr. B division. It was a district qualifier. Sierra placed 1st on Vault with a 9.6! She got 4th on Floor with an 8.9 and 6th on Beam with an 8.775. She placed 4th in the All-Around. Below are links to pictures and videos.

September 07, 2008 - Allen Classic - Level 6 Jr. B at Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen, TX

This was Sierra's 2nd  Level-6 meet. She competed in the Jr. B division. It was an invitational (meaning it doesn't count towards districts or state) so it was a more fun and relaxing type of meet. Ran into some other gyms we had not seen before - lots of good gymnasts!! Sierra placed 4th in the All-Around. After the meet we made a trip to the American Girl Doll store..fun fun! :-)  Below are links to pictures and videos.

August 16, 2008 - Summer Sizzler - Level 6 Jr. B at River City Gymnastics in San Antonio

This was Sierra's first Level-6 meet. She competed in the Jr. B division. It was a fairly low-scoring meet for all the gymnasts, so even though Sierra's scores were not real high, they were good enough that she placed well and took 1st place in the All-Around. Below are links to pictures and videos. The lighting in the gym was worse than normal. RCG is building a new gym, but it was not finished yet. They had large empty places in the ceiling with no lights...so, pics & video are a little dark.
